Moffat, who is also co-creator of the BBC’s hugely successful Sherlock, was tight-lipped about US broadcaster CBS’s new take on Sherlock Holmes, Elementary, which stars Johnny-Lee Miller and Lucy Liu.
“They approached to reversion our show, we said no and they just decided to make one anyway. So I’ll just leave you to speculate on what I think about that,” he said.

Really excited about the new companion!
Jenna-Louise Coleman looks adorable!
It would be awesome if someone who looked so cute turned out to be bad-ass.
“Sherlock would burn down the world for John, but only if John said it was ok first. Mycroft would toss the match behind him without even looking away from their face”
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHICH FIC THIS QUOTE COMES FROM?
Don’t know why everyone is bitching about Sherlock not being filmed until 2013
Weknewthat Benedict and Martin (and others!) would have other commitments, and personally I’m really glad that they are doing so many wonderful things around Sherlock to further their careers, because they sure as hell deserve it.
Plus, we will get Sherlock back! The longer time means it will just be even more quality when it arrives.
I am a hardened Sherlockian warrior by now, I waited once, I can wait again :p
I should go to bed. I shouldn’t watch Merlin.

Merlin, don -

Merlin, stop it.

You don’t understand, I have an interview tomorrow and I need t -

STOP IT WITH THE PUPPY DOG EYES.

Oh, fine.
*scuttles off to watch more Merlin*

Bastard.
3 steps to becoming depressed
- DECIDE TO RE-WATCH REICHENBACH.
FOOL THAT I AM.
Weirdly, the thing that pisses me off more than Joan Watson (hahahahahaha oh that is going to be hilarious) is putting Sherlock in rehab.
Let’s put one thing straight: It is canonical that Sherlock Holmes took cocaine. It is not canonical that he was ever addicted.
Personally, I applaud the BBC for sticking to this - they show a Sherlock who, in the past, took cocaine only when his mind was stuck in a rut and only as a distraction. It may never have been an addiction. It is entirely possible to take cocaine sparsely and not get addicted.
So will you stop putting him in rehab, CBS.
